WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
When you use Google or Github to log into Akuiper, we collect basic user information such as email and phone to help identify the user and manage content for each user separately. You can always opt out as anonymous users if you don't want to share these information with us. Currently we don't collect any personal identifiable information if you use the browser extension.
We also collect basic non PII statistics to better understand the usage of our product via google analytics. The collected information includes metrics when you run a python command or have a page view of our product. These stats does not include any personally identifiable information.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?
We use the personal information we collected as authentication information to better manage content for each individual user. We collect product usage stats to better understand the usage of our product so we can continuously improve it with time.
WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE SHARED WITH ANYONE?
No we don't share the information with anyone outside Akuiper
DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?
We use google analytics to collect product usage metrics which might have some usage of cookies technologies under the hood, but Akuiper doesn't explicitly use cookies for tracking purpose.
HOW DO WE HANDLE YOUR SOCIAL LOGINS?
Currently we only support github and google as login methods. Where you choose to do this, we will receive certain profile information about you from your social media provider. The profile Information we receive may vary depending on the social media provider concerned, but will often include your name, e-mail address, phone as well as other information you choose to make public.
We will use the information we receive only for the purposes that are described in this privacy policy or that are otherwise made clear to you on the Services.
